The Alliston Hornets rallied from three goals down to secure a 6-5 win over the Penetang Kings. Alliston never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Hornets fell behind 4-1 after a goal by Penetang's Matt Fischer at 12:16 in the first period. Alliston knotted things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by Mike Campeau at 55 seconds in the second period. The Hornets scored the game winner at 6:10 in the second period on a goal by Campeau. The win gave Alliston a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. David Leblanc was all over the ice for the Hornets, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Leblanc scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 6:16 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Alliston had gotten the advantage when the Kings' Austin Fischer was sent off for interference. Mark ODonnell assisted on the tally. Leblanc's next tally on the power play made the score 6-4 Alliston with 9:15 left in the second period. Dakota Brooks provided the assist. The Hornets' offense rang up 40 shots on Penetang's net. Alliston additionally got points from Randy Cox, who also grabbed one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Alliston also got a goal from Andre Lessard as well. Other players who recorded assists for Alliston were William Bradon, who had two and Zack Byblow and Bobby Sloan, who each chipped in one. The Kings forced Alliston's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 35 shots and forcing 30 saves. Tyler Brindle made 30 stops and Robbie Alsop made zero.
