The Midland Flyers' Cody Beasley scored 1:14 into overtime to beat the Stayner Siskins, 5-4 (OT). With the win, Midland evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. The Flyers overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Midland fell behind 4-2 after a goal by Stayner's Tyler Wade at 1:34 in the third period. The Flyers tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Zach Leduc at 16:16 in the third period. Beasley had one goal and three assists to lead Midland. The Flyers' offense rang up 45 shots on the Siskins' net. Midland additionally got points from Jason Leigh, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Midland also got a goal from Jon Meeks as well. In addition, Midland received assists from Jacob Busch, Jonathan Goldsworthy, C J Cook, JD Sterne, and Nathanial Jessop, who contributed one a piece. Midland was unable to stop Stayner from sending pucks towards the net, and the Siskins eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Stayner ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Reid was ejected from the game.
