John Patterson netted a hat trick to lead St. Louis Selects 18U over New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, 6-3.

Patterson's first goal came 4:05 into the first period. He then added goals at 10:24 into the second and at 7:57 into the third.

St. Louis Selects 18U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U to score on any of its four power plays.
