Drew Punnett scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and Pikes Peak Miners 18U held off the challenges of Indiana Jr. Ice 18U in a tough 3-1 win.

Pikes Peak Miners 18U took over the lead for good with a goal by Punnett at 3:10 in the first period.
