Omaha AAA 16U was sparked by Rhodes Dolan, who registered one goal. Dolan scored 1:05 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Omaha AAA 16U. Christian Evers picked up the assist.

Omaha AAA 16U forced Pittsburgh Viper Stars 16U's goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 44 shots and forcing 37 saves. Andrew Walters made 27 stops and Joseph Recktenwald made 10. Omaha AAA 16U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Pittsburgh Viper Stars 16U to score on any of its three power plays. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Omaha AAA 16U also got points from Evers, who also finished with two goals and one assist and Ethan Price, who also grabbed one goal and two assists.
