Lansing Capitals 16U downs West Michigan Hounds 16U, 4-0

Ronald Hein finished with one point to lead Lansing Capitals 16U to a 4-0 victory over West Michigan Hounds 16U.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 9:08 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with three game misconducts.

Keegan Weckesser also scored for Lansing Capitals 16U. More assists for Lansing Capitals 16U came via Wyatt Beard, Austin Robbins, Alexander Rowe, Austin Kuch, and Luc Wright, who contributed one a piece.

West Michigan Hounds 16U stifled Lansing Capitals 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. West Michigan Hounds 16U was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 40 penalty minutes.
