Austin Poganski tallied two points to lead the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders to a 2-1 victory over the Alexandria Cardinals.

St. Cloud Cathedral was held below its usual level of production. The Crusaders average 4.1 goals per game.

St. Cloud Cathedral also got points from Tommy Hall, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for St. Cloud Cathedral were Dan Bailey, who had one.

Alexandria did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Cardinals put an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game.

Alexandria was led by Matt Resch, who scored the team's only goal. Resch scored on the power play 14:20 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Cardinals had gotten the advantage when St. Cloud Cathedral's Austin Swingle was sent off for roughing. Kevin Finley assisted on the tally.

Connor Amundson rejected 23 shots on goal for the Crusaders. St. Cloud Cathedral incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Ben Allen made 24 saves for Alexandria on 26 shots. The Cardinals incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
