Andy Mahler recorded a shutout against the Albert Lea Tigers as DC Everest picked up a 2-0 win.

DC Everest was paced by Cole Halligan, who registered one goal. Halligan scored on the power play 13:07 into the second period to make the score 1-0 DC Everest. DC Everest had gotten the advantage when Albert Lea's Andrew Thompson was sent off for slashing.

DC Everest excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

DC Everest also got a goal from Michael Plaza as well. Other players who recorded assists for DC Everest were Brady Borrell, who had one.

The Tigers' offense operated below they season average. Albert Lea puts an average of 2.5 pucks into the net per game.
