Delano/Rockford rips Proctor, 7-0Mars Lakeview Arena Sat, Dec 29, 2012 The Delano/Rockford Tigers were firing on all cylinders against the Proctor Rails, and when the final buzzer sounded Tigers emerged with a 7-0 win. Delano/Rockford was led by Hunter Hart, who registered one goal. Hart scored 11:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Delano/Rockford. Grant Prinsen provided the assist. The Tigers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Proctor power plays. Delano/Rockford's defensive effort looked to be improved. The Tigers allow 2.9 goals per game. Proctor was unable to stop Delano/Rockford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Tigers eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Delano/Rockford found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Tigers average 4.4 goals per contest. Delano/Rockford additionally got points from Lars Halonen, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Levi Peterson, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Chet Halonen, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Delano/Rockford included Eric Ylitalo, who had one and Mike Krueger, who had two. More assists for Delano/Rockford came via Brady Miller, who had two and Josh Dzurik, Daniel Keranen, Jack Nelson, and Justin Oja, who each chipped in one. The Rails excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Proctor could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Rails put an average of 2.6 pucks into the net per game. Proctor's offense was handcuffed by Delano/Rockford's defensive play, and the Rails managed only six shots on goal during the game. Aaron Grangroth rejected six shots on goal for the Tigers. Delano/Rockford incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tanner Haedrich made 40 saves for Proctor on 40 shots. The Rails incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
