Henry Sibley falls to Sartell-St.Stephen in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The Sartell-St.Stephen Sabres pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over the Henry Sibley Warriors on a clutch goal by Aaron Randall.

Although Sartell-St.Stephen was up by as many as four goals in the second period, Henry Sibley kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. The Warriors got to within 4-3 on a goal by T.J. Lang at 1:38 in the third period.

The Sabres stifled Henry Sibley's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Sartell-St.Stephen was helped by Matthew Ringhand, who tallied two goals. Ringhand scored the first of his two goals at 4:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Sartell-St.Stephen. Tyler Minkel provided the assist. Ringhand's next tally made the score 2-0 Sartell-St.Stephen with 17:52 left in the second period. Kyle Erickson picked up the assist. Sartell-St.Stephen additionally got points from Spencer Zwiener, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Sartell-St.Stephen received assists from Cullen Chisholm, who had two and Matt Worzala and Sam Zwiener, who each chipped in one.

Henry Sibley also got a goal from Alex Restemayer as well. Other players who recorded assists for Henry Sibley were Ben Sather, who had one.

Carter Kasianov recorded 22 saves for the Sabres. Sartell-St.Stephen incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cody Dornbusch made 23 saves for the Warriors on 28 shots. Henry Sibley incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
