Cody Morsching recorded a shutout against the Prairie Centre North Stars as the Faribault Falcons picked up a 4-0 win.

Faribault pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 15 penalty minutes.

The Falcons were paced by Tyler Becker, who registered one goal and one assist. Becker scored 6:49 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Faribault. Connor Wierschem assisted on the tally.

Faribault put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Prairie Centre to score on any of its six power plays.

Faribault also got points from Riley Jandro, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Wierschem, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Faribault also got a goal from Logan Murphy as well. More assists for Faribault came via Christan Von Ruden, Evan Jensen, and Cody Colegrove, who contributed one a piece.

The North Stars kept the Falcons' goalie busy throughout the game, and Morsching made 32 saves on 32 shots.

Faribault registered one goal on five power play opportunities. Prairie Centre's Clay Deters stopped 12 shots out of the 16 that he faced. The North Stars incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
