St.Louis Park blows out Detroit Lakes, 7-1

The St.Louis Park Orioles had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over the Detroit Lakes Lakers.

St.Louis Park was paced by Graham Larson, who racked up one goal. Larson scored 8:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St.Louis Park.

The Orioles excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The 29 shots that St.Louis Park put on net surpassed the Orioles' average of 2.2 shots per game this season. St.Louis Park surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Orioles have scored at the pace of 2.3 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

St.Louis Park also got points from NICK HAMES, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, NOAH FORTMEYER, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and CHARLIE HILLS, who also finished with one goal and one assist. St.Louis Park also had goals scored by JOE KRAMER, who had one and JACOB LUKASAVAGE, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for St.Louis Park were CURT GREENBUSH, who had two and T.J. HALLFIN, MILES MULARKY, JAKE BAER, and FRANK JERMUSEK, who each chipped in one.

ERIC SPEICHER made 17 saves for St.Louis Park on 18 shots. The Orioles incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. MacKenzie Steele recorded 22 saves for Detroit Lakes. The Lakers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
