Cody Ulfers gave the Waseca Bluejays a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Dodge County Wildcats when he scored 40 seconds into the extra period.

Waseca overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Bluejays trailed 3-1 after a short handed goal by Dodge County's Stefan Rechtzigel at 9:47 in the second period. Waseca tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Ulfers at 16:46 in the third period.

Waseca also got points from JP Eykyn, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Waseca received assists from Wyatt Krampitz, who had three and Michael Priebe and Dan Riha, who contributed one a piece.

The Wildcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Bluejays were unable to stop Dodge County from sending pucks towards the net, and the Wildcats eventually piled up 49 shots on goal.

Dodge County was helped by Spencer Senn, who tallied one goal. Senn scored 4:34 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Dodge County. Bryan Knesel assisted on the tally. Dodge County additionally got points from Tanner Dufault, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Dodge County came via Cory Schillo and Christian Schillo, who each chipped in one.

Austin Stroda rejected 46 shots on goal for Waseca. The Bluejays incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Mitch Sobotta made 22 saves for the Wildcats on 26 shots. Dodge County incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
