A four-goal first period deficit cost the Park of Cottage Grove Wolfpack, which could not recover and fell to the White Bear Lake Bears, 10-2.

White Bear Lake got the win with help from a great game by Jake Wahlin, who had one goal and five assists. Wahlin scored 4:18 into the second period to make the score 5-0 White Bear Lake. Tommy Giller assisted on the tally.

The Bears' goal total was higher than their season average. White Bear Lake has scored at the pace of 4.0 goals per game during the current campaign. The 49 shots that the Bears put on net surpassed White Bear Lake's average of 2.5 shots per game this season.

White Bear Lake also got points from Thomas Delaney, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Giller, who also finished with one goal and three assists. White Bear Lake also had goals scored by Alex Bocchi, who had two and Brady Anderson, Tyler Steffen, John Tauer, Steve Novak, and Ben Wilke, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for White Bear Lake were Peter Deppert, who had one and Jake Dittel and Seth King, who contributed two a piece.

Max Green rejected 13 shots on goal for the Bears. White Bear Lake incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Kyle Strand made 39 saves for Park of Cottage Grove on 49 shots. The Wolfpack incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
