Lake of the Woods/Indus holds on for 4-3 win against Kittson Central

The Kittson Central Wolfpack tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Lake of the Woods/Indus Bears would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Victor Dahl put Lake of the Woods/Indus up 3-0 in the first period, but Kittson Central pulled to within one on Tyler Cosley's tally 2:32 into the third period.

Dahl was all over the ice for the Bears, as he tallied two goals in the win.

Lake of the Woods/Indus forced the Wolfpack goalie Tucker Cosley to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Lake of the Woods/Indus additionally got points from Blake Olson, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Kalvin Krause also scored for Lake of the Woods/Indus. Other players who recorded assists for Lake of the Woods/Indus were Kenton Peters and Cole Sugden, who each chipped in one.

Kittson Central kept the Bears' goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyle Olson made 32 saves on 35 shots.

Kittson Central also got a goal from Zach Gatheridge as well. More assists for Kittson Central came via Anton Anderson and Nick Kasprowicz, who contributed one a piece.

Lake of the Woods/Indus incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities. The Wolfpack's Cosley stopped 34 shots out of the 38 that he faced. Kittson Central avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of three power plays.
