Neenah downs Minnehaha Academy in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Neenah pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks on a clutch goal by Spencer Vlach.

Neenah was led by Vlach, who tallied one goal and one assist. Vlach scored 5:00 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Neenah. Trevor Gmeiner picked up the assist.

Neenah additionally got points from Alec Herb, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Neenah also got a goal from Mitch Gerhartz as well. Other players who recorded assists for Neenah were Mason Grishaber and Max Hackinson, who contributed one a piece.

Minnehaha Academy forced Neenah goalie Austin Callahan to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

The Red Hawks were helped by Ryan Leo, who registered one goal and one assist. Leo scored 6:57 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Josh Radtke provided the assist. Minnehaha Academy also got points from Radtke, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Minnehaha Academy received assists from Jacob Eggers and Erik Madryga, who each chipped in one.

Neenah's Callahan stopped 32 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Neenah ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play. Matt Sawyer made 26 saves for Minnehaha Academy on 29 shots. The Red Hawks finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-0 with the man advantage.
