Behind a great game by Jake Herges, who had two goals, the River Lakes Stars defeated the Prairie Centre North Stars, 3-0.

Herges' tallies came at 8:50 into the third period to make the score 1-0 River Lakes and 12:44 into the third to make the score 3-0 River Lakes.

River Lakes' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Prairie Centre power plays.

River Lakes also got a goal from Austin Stone as well. Other players who recorded assists for River Lakes were Mathew Prozinski, Joe Spaulding, and Dylan Jude, who each chipped in one.

Chris Skluzacek rejected 23 shots on goal for the Stars. River Lakes totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and had no power play opportunities. Clay Deters recorded 27 saves for Prairie Centre. The North Stars incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
