Coatta nets hat trick, leads Minnetonka to 6-0 win over HopkinsPagel Activity Center Sat, Jan 19, 2013 The Hopkins Royals could not stop the Minnetonka Skippers' Max Coatta, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-0 win. Coatta's first goal came 3:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 51 seconds into the third and at 13:36 into the third.Minnetonka featured an improved defense during the game. The Skippers allow 2.1 goals per game. Minnetonka put 42 shots on net during the contest, more than the 5.4 it averages per game. Minnetonka also got points from Jimmy Schuldt, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Minnetonka also got a goal from Tommy Vannelli as well. Other players who recorded assists for Minnetonka were Austin Burt and Tommy Brandabur, who each chipped in one and Connor Thie and Jack Ramsey, who contributed three a piece.
