The Hopkins Royals could not stop the Minnetonka Skippers' Max Coatta, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-0 win.

Coatta's first goal came 3:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 51 seconds into the third and at 13:36 into the third.

Minnetonka featured an improved defense during the game. The Skippers allow 2.1 goals per game. Minnetonka put 42 shots on net during the contest, more than the 5.4 it averages per game.
