Onalaska, WI beats La Crescent 9-2 as Tepp gets hat trick

Luke Tepp netted a hat trick to lead Onalaska, WI over the La Crescent Lancers, 9-2.

Tepp's first goal came 11:29 into the second period. He then added goals at 39 seconds into the third and at 10:35 into the third.

La Crescent was unable to stop Onalaska, WI from sending pucks towards the net, and Onalaska, WI eventually piled up 52 shots on goal. Onalaska, WI was held back by its power play unit, which tallied one goal on nine chances.

Onalaska, WI also got points from Austin Lubinsky, who also registered two goals and one assist, Bryce Bingham, who also had two goals and one assist, Tyler Ebner, who also racked up one goal and two assists, and Gabe Flood, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for Onalaska, WI were Brandon Garagaro, who had two, Ian Earp, who had four, and Ryan Aschenbrenner, Dalton Treanor, and Jason Havlicek, who each chipped in one.

The Lancers found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere six shots against Onalaska, WI's defense. La Crescent could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 42 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Lancers were helped by Jason Witt, who registered one goal. Witt scored 3:56 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Kyle Colsch provided the assist. La Crescent also got a goal from Jack Hanno as well. More assists for La Crescent came via Justin Pauletti and Jevin Dorscher, who contributed one a piece.

Joe Witz recorded four saves for Onalaska, WI. Onalaska, WI incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Levi Thesing made 43 saves for La Crescent on 52 shots. The Lancers registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
