Besse's big game bests Shattuck St. Marys in 5-2 Benilde St. Margarets win

The Benilde St. Margarets Red Knights' Grant Besse had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over Shattuck St. Marys.

Besse's tallies came at 12:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Benilde St. Margarets and on the power play 14:00 into the third to make the score 4-2 Benilde St. Margarets.

Benilde St. Margarets put 28 shots on net during the contest, more than the 16.7 it averages per game.

Benilde St. Margarets additionally got points from Johnny Austin, who also registered one goal and one assist and Ben Newhouse, who also had one goal and one assist. Spencer Naas also scored for Benilde St. Margarets. Other players who recorded assists for Benilde St. Margarets were T.J.
