The Tartan Titans' Jake Kurschner scored 46 seconds into overtime to beat the North High Polars, 4-3 (OT).

Tartan was led by Kurschner, who racked up one goal.

Tartan forced North High goalie Mario Bollman to work between the pipes, taking 54 shots. The Titans got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Tartan also got a goal from Kevin Reddy as well. Other players who recorded assists for Tartan were Jacob Picht, Rusty Axtman, Zach Ledman, Eric Olheiser, Jake Jackson, and Mike Winberg, who contributed one a piece.

The Polars were led by Tyler Oliver, who registered two goals. Oliver scored the first of his two goals at 16:52 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Tartan. Sam Hei provided the assist. Oliver's next tally made the score 3-3 with 3:27 left in the second period. Justin Oliver assisted on the tally. Jack Murnane also scored for North High.

Gabe Splichal recorded 26 saves for Tartan. The Titans totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Mario Bollman made 50 saves for North High on 54 shots. The Polars incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
