North High squeaks by Henry Sibley, 3-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the North High Polars escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Henry Sibley Warriors.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Tyler Oliver's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Oliver was all over the ice for North High, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Oliver scored 16:13 into the third period to make the score 3-2 North High. Jake Dahlberg provided the assist.

The Polars excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. North High kept Henry Sibley's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jeremy Zeis made 31 saves on 34 shots.

Justin Oliver also scored for North High. In addition, North High received assists from Jack ONeil-Como and John Anderson, who contributed one a piece.

The Warriors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Henry Sibley was helped by Jack Coleman, who racked up one goal. Coleman scored 16:32 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Henry Sibley. Austin Westman picked up the assist. Henry Sibley also got a goal from T.J. Lang as well. More assists for Henry Sibley came via Alex Restemayer, Ben Sather, and Steve Malmgren, who each chipped in one.

Mario Bollman recorded 26 saves for the Polars. North High incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
