Huge game by Zuehlke boosts Greenway over Ely/Northeast Range, 10-3

Bazil Zuehlke had four goals and three assists to lead the Greenway Raiders to a 10-3 victory over the Ely/Northeast Range Timberwolves.

Zuehlke notched his first tally 12:20 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:20 into the second, at 9:26 into the second, and at 10:28 into the second.

Greenway pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes.

The Raiders' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Ely/Northeast Range power plays. Ely/Northeast Range was unable to stop Greenway from sending pucks towards the net, and the Raiders eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. Greenway found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Raiders average 4.2 goals per contest.

Greenway also got points from Alex Troumbly, who also racked up three goals and three assists and Nick O''Toole, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Brett Shevich also scored for Greenway. Other players who recorded assists for Greenway were Joe LaDoux, who had two and Kaden Kalisch, Austin Maasch, and Pat Shevich, who each chipped in one.

The Timberwolves were helped by Louis Gerzin, who grabbed one goal and two assists. Gerzin scored 14:54 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Greenway. Carter Manning assisted on the tally. Ely/Northeast Range additionally got points from Manning, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Ely/Northeast Range also got a goal from Bobby Shusta as well. In addition, Ely/Northeast Range received assists from Ben Aho, who had one.

Sam LaDoux recorded 24 saves for Greenway. The Raiders registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Ely/Northeast Range's Matthew Killoran stopped 33 shots out of the 43 that he faced. The Timberwolves incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
