A five-goal first period deficit cost the Red Lake Falls Eagles, which could not recover and fell to the Greenway Raiders, 7-1.

Alex Troumbly was all over the ice for Greenway, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Troumbly scored the first of his two goals at 4:58 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Greenway. Bazil Zuehlke picked up the assist. Troumbly's next tally made the score 6-0 Greenway with 5:20 left in the second period. Zach Childs provided the assist.

The Raiders kept Red Lake Falls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Wyatt Casavan made 39 saves on 46 shots. Greenway cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances.

Greenway also got points from Childs, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Nick O''Toole also scored for Greenway. In addition, Greenway received assists from Austin Maasch and Brett Shevich, who each chipped in one.

Red Lake Falls also got a goal from Ryan Amiot as well. Other players who recorded assists for Red Lake Falls were Lars Brevik, who had one.

Sam LaDoux made 19 saves for the Raiders on 20 shots. Greenway ended with seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major. The Eagles were hit with 10 minutes in penalty time with two majors.
