Kittson Central rips Red Lake Falls, 5-2Red Lake Falls High School Tue, Jan 08, 2013 The Kittson Central Wolfpack had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over the Red Lake Falls Eagles. Kittson Central was led by Tyler Cosley, who tallied one goal. Cosley scored 9:53 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Kittson Central. Kyle Petersburg picked up the assist. The Wolfpack kept Red Lake Falls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Wyatt Casavan made 39 saves on 44 shots. Kittson Central additionally got points from Dalton Klegstad, who also finished with two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Scott Mortenson also scored for Kittson Central. More assists for Kittson Central came via Zach Gatheridge, who had one and Nick Kasprowicz, who had two. The Eagles were helped by Kayler Knott, who racked up one goal. Knott scored on the power play 14:37 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Kittson Central. Red Lake Falls had taken the advantage when Kittson Central's Cosley got sent off for hooking. Zack Landman assisted on the tally. Red Lake Falls also got a goal from Ryan Amiot as well. Other players who recorded assists for Red Lake Falls were Tristan Knott, who had one. Tucker Cosley made 24 saves for the Wolfpack on 26 shots. Kittson Central incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Eagles incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
