Cody Dornbusch had a standout game with 27 saves, and the Henry Sibley Warriors beat the Richfield Spartans 3-1.

Henry Sibley was led by Ty Tostrud, who grabbed one goal. Tostrud scored 15:48 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Henry Sibley. Cole Lucken picked up the assist.

The Warriors forced Richfield goalie John Meyer to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

Henry Sibley also got a goal from Jack Coleman as well. More assists for Henry Sibley came via Ben Sather, who had one.

The Spartans managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Richfield finished below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game.

The Spartans were led by Trigve Duryea, who scored the team's only goal. Duryea scored 9:35 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kevin Ahlstrand provided the assist.

Henry Sibley finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-1 with the man advantage. Richfield's Meyer stopped 39 shots out of the 42 that he faced. The Spartans registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
