GREENBUSH lifts St.Louis Park over Richfield, 4-1

CURT GREENBUSH was all over the ice for the St.Louis Park Orioles, as he tallied two goals in St.Louis Park's 4-1 win over the Richfield Spartans.

GREENBUSH found the back of the net 6:30 into the second period to make the score 2-0 St.Louis Park and again while 15:11 into the second to make the score 3-0 St.Louis Park.

The Orioles' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Richfield power plays. St.Louis Park's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. The Orioles' offense was clicking better than usual and put 36 shots on goal during the game, better than the 1.6 shot per game they average.

St.Louis Park also got points from T.J. HALLFIN, who also registered one goal and one assist and CHARLIE HILLS, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, St.Louis Park received assists from JACOB LUKASAVAGE, NOAH FORTMEYER, and JOE KRAMER, who contributed one a piece.

Richfield managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Spartans ended up below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game.

Richfield was led by Kody Ahlstrand, who scored the team's only goal. Ahlstrand scored 3:32 into the third period to make the score 3-1 St.Louis Park. Kevin Ahlstrand assisted on the tally.

RYAN FROOM recorded 21 saves for St.Louis Park. The Orioles incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors. St.Louis Park ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and CARLOS SIGUENZA was ejected from the game. The Spartans' John Meyer stopped 32 shots out of the 36 that he faced.
