Picht's goals lift Tartan to 5-2 victory over Henry Sibley

Jake Picht had two goals to lead the Tartan Titans to a 5-2 victory over the Henry Sibley Warriors.

Picht found the back of the net 3:07 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Tartan and again while on the power play 4:05 into the third to make the score 4-2 Tartan.

Henry Sibley was unable to stop Tartan from sending pucks towards the net, and the Titans eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Tartan's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Tartan also got points from Brady OSullivan, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Tartan also got a goal from Kevin Reddy as well. More assists for Tartan came via Mike Winberg, who had two and Charlie Lupelow, Zach Ledman, and Jake Jackson, who each chipped in one.

The Warriors were helped by Cole Lucken, who tallied one goal. Lucken scored 3:08 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Henry Sibley. Noah Nelson picked up the assist. Ben Sather also scored for Henry Sibley. In addition, Henry Sibley received assists from T.J. Lang and Steve Malmgren, who contributed one a piece.

Denis Denis made 19 saves for the Titans on 21 shots. Tartan finished the contest with no penalties and went 1-for-0 with the man advantage. Cody Dornbusch rejected 33 shots on goal for Henry Sibley. The Warriors ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
