Christiano Versich had two goals to lead the St. Thomas Academy Cadets to a 6-1 victory over the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders.

Versich found the back of the net 15:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Thomas Academy and again while 1:05 into the third to make the score 3-1 St. Thomas Academy.

Cretin-Derham Hall was unable to stop St. Thomas Academy from sending pucks towards the net, and the Cadets eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Jake Geiser also scored for St. Thomas Academy. More assists for St. Thomas Academy came via Jack Stang and Matt Perry, who contributed one a piece and Jack Dougherty and Tony Bretzman, who each chipped in two.

The Raiders could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Cretin-Derham Hall puts an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game.

The Raiders were led by Jack Buckingham, who scored the team's only goal. Buckingham scored 12:56 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Thomas Academy. Bret Huebner provided the assist.

St. Thomas Academy's David Zevnik stopped 14 shots out of the 15 that he faced. The Cadets avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of zero power plays. George McLeod rejected 37 shots on goal for Cretin-Derham Hall. The Raiders ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
