The Breck School Mustangs pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over the Mahtomedi Zephyers on a clutch goal by Tyler Lindstrom.

Chase Ellingson had two goals to lead Breck School to victory. Ellingson's tallies came short handed at 8:43 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and on the power play 8:10 into the third to make the score 4-3 Breck School.

The Mustangs forced Mahtomedi goalie Colin Denis to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

Breck School additionally got points from Michael Orke, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Breck School also got a goal from Otto Haeg as well. More assists for Breck School came via Jack O''Connor, Derek Wiitala, and Matt Colford, who contributed one a piece.

The Zephyers kept Breck School's goalie busy throughout the game, and Henry Johnson made 43 saves on 47 shots.

Mahtomedi was helped by Mac Rathmanner, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Rathmanner scored 6:04 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Truman Slack picked up the assist. Mahtomedi also got points from Jake Erickson, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Slack, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Kellen Campbell also scored for Mahtomedi. Other players who recorded assists for Mahtomedi were Adam Boben, Zack Taylor, and Matt Bonine, who each chipped in one.

The Mustangs totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. Colin Denis made 37 saves for the Zephyers on 42 shots. Mahtomedi incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
