Eagan falls to Hill-Murray in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Hill-Murray Pioneers' Matt Littler scored 6:50 into overtime to beat the Eagan Wildcats, 3-2 (OT).

Mitch Slattery was all over the ice for Hill-Murray, as he tallied two goals in the win. Slattery scored on the power play at 7:29 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 12:42 into the third to make the score 2-2.

Other players who recorded assists for Hill-Murray were Zach LaValle, who had two and Curt LaChappelle, Jacob Olson, and Ryan Black, who contributed one a piece.

Eagan was helped by Will Peterson, who finished with one goal. Peterson scored on the power play 8:28 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Eagan. Jack Jenson assisted on the tally. Jesse Gabrielle also scored for Eagan. More assists for Eagan came via Tommy Muck and Nick Smallidge, who each chipped in one.

The Pioneers' John Dugas stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Hill-Murray incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Andrew Lindgren made 24 saves for the Wildcats on 27 shots. Eagan totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-1 on the power play.
