Farmington beats Chaska 4-0 as Overby gains shutoutChaska Community Center Tue, Jan 15, 2013 Gage Overby made 30 saves to complete the shutout and led the Farmington Tigers to a 4-0 win against the Chaska Hawks. Farmington was led by Tanner Grubb, who grabbed one goal. Grubb scored 10:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Farmington. Kevin Olund picked up the assist. The Tigers featured an improved defense during the game. Farmington allows 2.8 goals per game. Farmington additionally got points from Jack Erickson, who also registered one goal and one assist and Dallas Tucker, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Farmington also got a goal from Jordan Lugowski as well. Other players who recorded assists for Farmington were Corey Rudrud, John Siebenhaler, and Justin Novak, who each chipped in one. Chaska was held below its usual level of production. The Hawks put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. The Tigers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Blake Jackson recorded 18 saves for Chaska. The Hawks finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
