The Farmington Tigers had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over the Rochester Century Panthers.

Farmington was paced by Christopher Fitzgibbons, who registered one goal and one assist. Fitzgibbons scored 13:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Farmington. Benton Olson provided the assist.

The Tigers forced Rochester Century goalie Eric Rohleder to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.

Farmington also had goals scored by Justin Novak, who had three and Grant Hauswirth and Tanner Grubb, who scored one goal each. In addition, Farmington received assists from Alex Aubrecht and Erik Holmstrom, who contributed one a piece and Corey Rudrud and Kevin Olund, who each chipped in two.

The Panthers' offense were handcuffed by Farmington's defensive play, and Rochester Century managed only 13 shots on goal during the game.

Nick Schoening recorded 13 saves for the Tigers. Farmington avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored three goals off of zero power plays. Eric Rohleder made 38 saves for the Panthers on 44 shots. Rochester Century ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
