Behind a great game by Adam Swanson, who had two goals and two assists, the Pine City/Rush City Dragons defeated the North Branch Vikings, 8-5.

Swanson found the back of the net 2:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pine City/Rush City and again while 4:58 into the first to make the score 2-1 Pine City/Rush City.

Pine City/Rush City stifled North Branch's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Vikings were unable to stop the Dragons from sending pucks towards the net, and Pine City/Rush City eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.
