Behind two goals from Alex Miller and two goals and one assist from Jared Axberg, the North Branch Vikings downed the St. Paul Highland Park Scots 5-2.

Miller scored the first of his two goals at 1:00 into the second period to make the score 1-0 North Branch. Axberg assisted on the tally. Miller's next tally made the score 2-2 with 12:07 left in the second period. An interference penalty on Kyle Hallock had put North Branch on the power play. Joey Courtright picked up the assist.
