Benilde St. Margarets beats Elk River 9-1 as Naas gets hat trickSt. Louis Park East Tue, Jan 22, 2013 Spencer Naas netted a hat trick to lead the Benilde St. Margarets Red Knights over the Elk River Elks, 9-1. Naas' first goal came 47 seconds into the second period. He then added goals at 3:27 into the second and at 11:15 into the second.The game was close after the first frame, but Benilde St. Margarets banged in five goals during the second period to put the victory out of reach for Elk River. The Red Knights bested their season scoring average. Benilde St. Margarets averages 5.8 goals per game. With 34 shots on target during the contest, the Red Knights exceeded the 15.8 shots they average per game this year. Benilde St. Margarets additionally got points from Grant Besse, who also had three goals and two assists to lead the team in points and Nate Labosky, who also finished with one goal and two assists.
