Eastview rolls over Rosemount, 6-0Rosemount CC Sat, Feb 09, 2013 The Eastview Lightning had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over the Rosemount Irish. Eastview was sparked by Mike Stillings, who racked up one goal and one assist. Stillings scored 5:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Eastview. Cole Cooper provided the assist. The Lightning forced Rosemount goalie Tom Fraune to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Eastview bested its season scoring average. The Lightning average 3.1 goals per game. Eastview also got points from John Snodgrass, who also had one goal and one assist, Cooper, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Jake McGlocklin, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Eastview also got a goal from Ryan McNamara as well. In addition, Eastview received assists from Keith Muehlbauer, who had two and Mitchell Cerrato, Mitch Beattie, and Kevin Wobschall, who contributed one a piece. The Irish managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Rosemount wound up below its season average of 11.0 penalty minutes per game. The Irish could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Rosemount averages 3.1 goals per game. Zachary Driscoll rejected 16 shots on goal for Eastview. The Lightning avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays. The Irish's Fraune stopped 28 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Rosemount registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
