Cullen Willox was all over the ice for the Eagan Wildcats, as he tallied two goals in Eagan's 5-2 win over the Lakeville South Cougars.

Willox found the back of the net 9:33 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Eagan and again while 16:35 into the first to make the score 3-0 Eagan.

The Wildcats put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lakeville South to score on any of its four power plays. Eagan's offense rang up 41 shots on the Cougars' net.

Nick Wolff also scored for Eagan. Other players who recorded assists for Eagan were Jack Jenson and Nick Smallidge, who contributed one a piece and Tommy Muck, Jesse Gabrielle, and Zach Schultz, who each chipped in two.

With 18 shots on target during the contest, Lakeville South exceeded the 1.1 shot it averages per game this year.

The Wildcats' Andrew Lindgren stopped 16 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Eagan incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities. Tyler Schumacher rejected 36 shots on goal for the Cougars.
