A hat trick by Jack Diercks was the highlight in Panthers' 3-1 win against the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles.

Diercks notched his first tally 16:52 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:50 into the third and at 16:35 into the third.

The Lakeville North Panthers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Lakeville North's offense rang up 38 shots on Bloomington Kennedy's net.

Other players who recorded assists for Lakeville North were Tristan Hazlett, who had three and Jack Poehling and Nick Poehling, who each chipped in one.

The Eagles stifled the Panthers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Bloomington Kennedy was led by Mitchell Radcliff, who scored the team's only goal. Radcliff scored 1:21 into the second period to make the score 1-1.

Will Dupont recorded 17 saves for Lakeville North. The Panthers totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-4 on the power play. David Johnson made 35 saves for the Eagles on 38 shots. Bloomington Kennedy incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
