A hat trick by Collin Hernon was the highlight in Jaguars' 4-1 win against the Lakeville South Cougars.

Hernon notched his first tally 12:57 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:50 into the second and at 2:02 into the third.

The Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars' Grant Martens was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 37 saves and let only one puck past him. Martens certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.14 entering the contest.

Bloomington Jefferson also got points from Tyler Johnson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for Bloomington Jefferson came via Charlie Bach, who had two.

Lakeville South's offense operated below it season average. The Cougars average 3.1 goals per game. Lakeville South's offense rang up 38 shots on Bloomington Jefferson's net.
