Behind a great game by Zach Bichler, who had two goals, the Rosemount Irish defeated the Eastview Lightning, 3-0.

Bichler found the back of the net 3:19 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Rosemount and again while 13:34 into the second to make the score 2-0 Rosemount.

Tom Fraune spearheaded the defensive effort for Rosemount, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 26 saves for the shutout. Fraune managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 5.18 prior to the game.

The Irish forced Eastview goalie Zachary Driscoll to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Rosemount also got a goal from Lukas Hedtke as well. More assists for Rosemount came via Evan Weiand and Austin Anderson, who each chipped in one.

The Lightning were held below their usual level of production. Eastview puts an average of 3.0 pucks into the net per game.

Rosemount avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. Zachary Driscoll made 28 saves for the Lightning on 31 shots. Eastview ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
