A stellar performance between the pipes by Zachary Driscoll helped the Eastview Lightning defeat the Lakeville South Cougars, 4-1.

Eastview was paced by Mitch Beattie, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Beattie scored 8:26 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Eastview. Pierce Erickson provided the assist.

Eastview also got a goal from Mitchell Cerrato as well. In addition, Eastview received assists from John Snodgrass, Keith Muehlbauer, and Brett Schweiger, who each chipped in one.

By firing 26 shots on goal, Lakeville South exceeded the 2.6 shots it averages per game this year.

The Cougars were led by Leo Steinmetz, who scored the team's only goal. Steinmetz scored on the power play 2:10 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Mack Farley picked up the assist.

Driscoll rejected 25 shots on goal for the Lightning. Eastview finished the contest with no penalties and went 1-for-0 with the man advantage. Lakeville South's Daniel Swail stopped 24 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Cougars avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of zero power plays.
