Jenson's big game bests Prior Lake in 6-3 Eagan win

The Eagan Wildcats' Jack Jenson had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Prior Lake Lakers.

Jenson found the back of the net on the power play 11:05 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Eagan and again while 2:30 into the third to make the score 5-2 Eagan.

Eagan stifled Prior Lake's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Wildcats kept the Lakers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jordan Moran made 42 saves on 48 shots.

Eagan additionally got points from Cullen Willox, who also registered one goal and three assists and Zach Glienke, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Eagan also got a goal from Max Elsenheimer as well. In addition, Eagan received assists from Jesse Gabrielle, who had two and Tommy Muck, Nick Wolff, and Josh Loew, who contributed one a piece.

Prior Lake's offense rang up 31 shots on Eagan's net.

The Lakers were helped by Ben Keckeisen, who finished with one goal. Keckeisen scored 13:11 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Eagan. Gavin Smith picked up the assist. Jeff Pieper also scored for Prior Lake. Other players who recorded assists for Prior Lake were Tyler Grobel and Sam Taylor, who each chipped in one.

Andrew Lindgren rejected 28 shots on goal for the Wildcats. Eagan totaled 12 minutes in penalty time with one minor and two majors and went 2-for-2 on the power play. Prior Lake incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
