The Lakeville South Cougars relied on the scoring touch of Drew Byers, who netted two goals, to beat the Rosemount Irish, 6-3.

Byers' tallies came on the power play at 8:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lakeville South and on the power play 16:07 into the second to make the score 3-2 Lakeville South.

Lakeville South stifled Rosemount's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Cougars found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season.
