The Burnsville Blaze's Brock Boesser scored 1:45 into overtime to beat the Lakeville North Panthers, 3-2 (OT).

Burnsville was led by Boesser, who tallied one goal.

The Blaze excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. By firing 30 shots on goal, Burnsville exceeded the 3.3 shots it averages per game this year.

Adam Schweitzer also scored for Burnsville. More assists for Burnsville came via Jack Ahcan, Mason Schneider, Cole Borchardt, Tyler Sheehy, and Nick DiGregorio, who contributed one a piece.

Lakeville North kept the Blaze's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nic Anderson made 36 saves on 38 shots.

The Panthers were helped by Connor Hyden, who grabbed one goal. Hyden scored 16:29 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Lakeville North. Jack Diercks picked up the assist. Lakeville North also got a goal from Jack Poehling as well. In addition, Lakeville North received assists from Nick Poehling and Tristan Hazlett, who each chipped in one.

Burnsville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Pierce Wilson recorded 27 saves for Lakeville North. The Panthers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
