Behind a great game by Brad Hinrichs, who had four goals, the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles defeated the Northfield Raiders, 4-1.

Hinrichs notched his first tally 13:53 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:00 into the second, at 13:45 into the second, and at 16:47 into the third.

Bloomington Kennedy was led by goalie David Johnson, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Johnson certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.75 entering the contest.

The Eagles' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Northfield power plays.

In addition, Bloomington Kennedy received assists from Michael Jost, who had two and Conor Jensen, Michael McCullen, and Samuel Wickstrom, who contributed one a piece.

Northfield was held below its usual level of production. The Raiders put an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game.

Northfield was led by Andrew Scofield, who scored the team's only goal. Scofield scored 29 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jacob Noel picked up the assist.

Bloomington Kennedy incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Raiders' Spencer Jones stopped 20 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Northfield incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
