The Eastview Lightning were firing on all cylinders against the Hastings Raiders, and when the final buzzer sounded Lightning emerged with a 4-0 win.

Ryan McNamara was all over the ice for Eastview, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. McNamara scored on the power play 8:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Eastview. The Lightning had gained a power play chance when Zach Mellick was whistled for slashing. Pierce Erickson picked up the assist.

Eastview's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Hastings power plays. The Lightning could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Eastview also had goals scored by John Snodgrass, who had one and Jake McGlocklin, who had two. In addition, Eastview received assists from Mitch Beattie, who had one.

Hastings was held below its usual level of production. The Raiders average 3.0 goals per game. Hastings could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 19 minutes in penalties during the game.

Matthew Montgomery made 23 saves for Eastview on 23 shots. The Lightning registered three goals on eight power play opportunities. Matt Radke rejected 22 shots on goal for the Raiders.
