Roseville survives Cretin-Derham Hall comeback, wins 2-1Highland Arena North Sat, Feb 09, 2013 The Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Roseville Raiders held on for a 2-1 victory. Roseville took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have Cretin-Derham Hall storm back on a Jack Buckingham goal 8:46 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Raiders were led by goalie Zach Larson, who finished with 31 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Larson will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 4.1. Roseville was led by Robb Stautz, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Stautz scored 12:59 into the second period to make the score Roseville. Roseville also got a goal from Andrerw Colvard as well. The Raiders could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Cretin-Derham Hall averages 3.9 goals per game. The Raiders were unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Cretin-Derham Hall eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. In addition, Cretin-Derham Hall received assists from Derek Olmschenk and Bret Huebner, who contributed one a piece. Roseville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Trent Jancze recorded 21 saves for the Raiders. Cretin-Derham Hall totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
