Nick Anderson banged in two goals and Jarrid Balz also chipped in zero points, but Stillwater still tied Mounds View, 2-2 (OT).

With 39 shots on target during the contest, the Ponies exceeded the 1.1 shot they average per game this year.

More assists for Stillwater came via Wyatt Stotts, Tyler Fitzsimmons, and Josh Clark, who each chipped in one.

The Mustangs' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Stillwater power plays. Mounds View could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Mustangs average 4.1 goals per game. Mounds View's offense was clicking better than usual and put 36 shots on goal during the game, better than the 0.1 shots per game it averages.

The Mustangs were helped by Max Knutson, who finished with one goal. Knutson scored 14:10 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Jacob Tretsven also scored for Mounds View. In addition, Mounds View received assists from Andrew Bjorklund and Ryan Elvidge, who contributed one a piece.

Colton Anderson rejected 34 shots on goal for Stillwater. The Ponies incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Mounds View's Brandon Smith stopped 37 shots out of the 39 that he faced. The Mustangs totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
