Huge game by Bolen-Porter boosts Cretin-Derham Hall over East Ridge, 4-1

The Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders' Kendall Bolen-Porter had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 4-1 win over the East Ridge Raptors.

Bolen-Porter's tallies came at 15:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cretin-Derham Hall and 16:50 into the second to make the score 4-1 Cretin-Derham Hall.

Cretin-Derham Hall put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow East Ridge to score on any of its three power plays. The Raiders forced the Raptors goalie Tyler Guck to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Cretin-Derham Hall also got a goal from Nick Reis as well. More assists for Cretin-Derham Hall came via Patrick Cullen, who had two and Derek Olmschenk and Bret Huebner, who contributed one a piece.

East Ridge stifled Cretin-Derham Hall's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raptors were held below their usual level of production. East Ridge puts an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game.

The Raptors were led by Tyler Hart, who scored the team's only goal. Hart scored 3:05 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jack Greeley picked up the assist.

Trent Jancze rejected 21 shots on goal for the Raiders. Cretin-Derham Hall incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Guck recorded 33 saves for East Ridge. The Raptors incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
